Resist silent unrolling of NEP amidst the pandemic
The Central government's move forcing states to implement NEP against the backdrop of Covid pandemic, should be resisted. NCERT had called a meeting with state council directors for drafting a curriculum framework which will replace the former framework by 2023. NCERT unilaterally discarded the concerns flagged by the directors about NEP. The move is a part of centralising and consequently corporatising the education sector. The controversial NEP which sabotages our federal nature of education, was cleared bypassing the parliament in 2020. The unobtrusive implementation exposes saffronisation of secular education, an agenda posited by RSS. Student organisations and parliamentarians should come forward to resist it from being implemented.

Stop political vendetta against Harsh Mander and child care homes: Reject defamatory claims of CPCRs
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), Delhi police and Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) take cheap political vendetta against child care homes run by Rainbow Foundation which has alleged association with Harsh Mander. NCPCR had raided childcare homes in 2020 and submitted a report, based on which the police lodged FIR in February 2021 and DCPCR filed affidavits in the Delhi High Court claiming "subverting democracy". Whereas NCPCR report accuses that 'children from the homes were sent to anti-CAA protests' which exposes the ulterior motives of the Commission, meant to defame the foundation and renowned right activist Harsh Mander. He is a staunch critic of CAA-NRC and involved in post Delhi genocide rehabilitation activities.
The fabrication is more clear through the DCPCR's affidavit that contradicted a majority of the incriminating claims made by the NCPCR. The BJP government's politically motivated witch-hunt against the critics by using official bodies should be stopped. We extend solidarity to Mander and his associations and appeal to the public to reject such defamatory claims with due contempt.

PM's Announcement on Resetting India's Covid Vaccine Policy is an Imperative
India's covid vaccine policy which enabled free vaccination to only those who were above the age of 45 was a misstep, since resetting it was an imperative. The Prime Minister's announcement that the vaccine would be free for all adults at government hospitals from June 21 was a necessary step that should have been taken long ago.
Though public health is a responsibility of the government, Centre has shown its indifference by setting a paid vaccination policy for citizens 18-45 age group. It has evoked nationwide criticism. Even the Supreme Court has slammed Centre's earlier policy as "arbitrary and irrational" asking the centre to review it. The new regulations were announced only because they were forced to do so.
However, the government hasn't forgotten to leave room for the private sectors to nourish their business and gain profit. 25% of the vaccine will be given to the private sector. This can cause inequity unless the Centre procure 100% vaccine and ensure freely available to all.
Hathras: Terrorising Students and Journalist to Cover-up Yogi Government’s Failure
U.P police is terrorising students and journalist in order to evade public revulsion against Yogi government due to the maltreatment of brutal rape-murder incident in Hathras. Atikur Rahman, Masud Khan and journalist Sidheeq Kappan were going to visit the family of the Dalit girl Manisha Valmiki on 5th Oct along with the driver, Alam. However, the police arrested them illegally in the absence of any crime and arbitrarily imposed UAPA and sedition charges against them, which is an extreme case of abuse of power. We urge the U.P government to withdraw draconian laws and the release of four innocent persons immediately.
The police came up with a series of lies and unfounded allegations against them in contrast to other visitors. The police’s lies on ‘sectarian violence’, ‘fundraising’ and ‘carrying dangerous literature’ are baseless and nonsensical. It is an undisputed fact that the law and order situation in UP deteriorates horribly since Yogi Adityanath assumed office. Atrocities against women escalated and UP became the rape capital of the country after BJP came to power. Now, the safety and security of ordinary people at stake in UP even nobody can travel freely.
BJP government tarnish protests that mounted all over the country in response to Hathras rape-murder and demanding justice for her is tainted as a conspiracy against the government. The Yogi government is hatching a conspiracy to protect rapists Takur men. There were immense efforts to tamper with the statement of the victim and the police at one stage even claimed that there was no proof of rape. The forceful abduction of her body from the family and hasty cremation was an attempt by the police to destroy the evidence of rape. The police have cordoned the area and not allowed any rights activists or political leader to visit the bereaved family with the motive of thwarting any legal aid the family may get. All these are part of the conspiracy hatched by Yogi government to save the casteist criminals and cripple the efforts for justice. Leaving Dalits in insecurity and terrorising Muslim youth is an established agenda of BJP and Yogi government is plotting to further this agenda.
It is a BJP delusion proposed by RSS that they can suppress the fight for justice by slapping horrible charges and creating an atmosphere of terror. We will no be taken aback by these intimidation tactics and we will fight this enormity through every possible legal and political manner. We appeal to the people of India to come forward jointly to deliver justice to the Dalit girl and these arrested persons.

The arrest of Umar and indict of professors and leaders: BJP government is afraid of larger alliance in anti CAA movement
Campus Front National President MS Sajid in a statement strongly condemned the arrest of Umar Khalid in connection with Delhi genocide and indict of professors and political leaders by Delhi police in the supplementary charge-sheet. The police framed the charge-sheet based on the alleged statement of the arrested protestors in which they try to establish protesters' 'role' in the genocide and link with different organisations. The police added names of political leaders Seetharam Yechoori, Yogendra Yadav, professors Apoorvanand, Jayathi Ghosh and documentary filmmaker Rahul Roy in the charge-sheet. Subsequently the police had to deny the existence of such former statements when it was widely criticised.
He stated that the BJP government is afraid of materialising larger alliance which claims constitutional rights. They were trying to create a rift in the anti-CAA movement by spreading hate against certain groups. The hindutva government's vilification campaign against each organisation of the larger anti-CAA movement by alleging their names with violence proves fervent effort to this end.
It is very clear that the Delhi Police under the Home Ministry is making 'blank' charge-sheets as per the factfinding report published by RSS associates. The police have done no intervention against the real culprits who took the lives of 53 people during the genocide. They were not even called for an enquiry and still spouting hate in social media.
Campus Front extends solidarity to all of those who are falsely incriminated and anti-CAA protestors who remains the target of Delhi police. The move to shield the real culprits of Delhi pogrom will not succeed but our slogans will again echo in the streets, he added.
I came to know from the media reports that an FIR has been lodged against me over a tweet regarding Kashmir issue. Constitution grants freedom of expression to everyone.
The constitutional rights of Kashmiris have been denied for many years and it's escalated since the abrogation of article 370 in August 2019. Speaking for the rights of Kashmiris is not a crime to book under 154 and 504. I believe every Kashmir citizen has equal rights as any other citizen enjoys in India. Because Kashmir and Kashmiris are part of our country. However, BJP government treats the matter in an anti-constitutional and undemocratic way. Hence we oppose it in all possible means.
The FIR is an attempt to suppress the voice of dissent and I'm not the first person been targeted for criticising the govt. There are many behind jails but still their voices echoed everywhere. We will continue criticizing the government's anti-people policies and fight against hindutva.

FIR Against Campus Front National President : Ploy to Stifle Dissent
The move to register FIR against CFI National President MS Sajid over a tweet criticising human rights violations in Kashmir is a part of the ongoing witch-hunt against those who raise dissent against the BJP government. It is an attempt by the hindutva government to paint 'speaking for constitutional rights of Kashmiri people' as anti national.
Modi government's policies on Kashmir generated more dissent than acceptance around the world which is evident from the ghastly unnatural measures the government had to adopt in order to enforce the abrogation of Article 370 against the will of Kashmiris and the ire of the nation. The denial of basic rights in Kashmir has escalated since August last year due to the imposing of communication blockade henceforth which has been pointed out by many activists and reputed organizations; notably the report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. But the BJP government is stubborn on not regarding any of them and tainting the dissenters playing on hyper nationalism. To that end the bigoted saffron brigade and uniformed police forces of the country are working hand in hand to repress disagreements.
The narrative spawned by the RSS that any criticism directed against the government is an anti national activity doesn't hold with the spirit of democracy. Dissent provides the life blood to democracy is an idea cherished by our Constitution and upheld by the Supreme Court multiple times. RSS ambition of a dissent-less nation need to be vehemently opposed. The present move to crack down on differences, tarnish the organisation and target its leader is Ill motivated.
Writing off fugitives' loan outrageous: Campus Front of India
Campus Front General Secretary Rauf Shareef termed the writing off of 68000 crores of loan amount belonging to fugitives such as Mehul Choksi, Nirav Modi etc as highly outrageous and in effect a loan waiver for the cronies of BJP. The act waters down the commitment to recover the public money stolen by the wealthy businessmen. It is shocking that such a scandalous move has taken place at a time when the country was continuously touching economic low since years. The Modi government has been consistently starving the welfare activities in the country and selling off the stakes in public sector undertakings for want of revenue. It is an irony that the same government didn't find it unfair to carry out such a flagrant move. The justification that writing off non performing loans is just a normal technical procedure doesn't hold as the parties involved are fugitives, the legal process against whom is underway. The party who came to power with a promise to free India from the vice of corruption and black money is now working with utmost commitment to bring a breeding ground for it.
CFI demands the government to immediately annul the action as it hurts the sentiments of the citizens deeply when the country is facing its darkest days ahead.
The police takes retaliatory actions against anti-CAA protesters cowardly
The police takes retaliatory actions against anti-CAA protesters cowardly. What provoked the special cell in the NE Delhi incident is that the Muslims resisted the genocide backed by the Police and RSS. One intention behind this targeting is to threaten the activists. We would say it's your term, so enjoy, 'but when their time has come, won't remain behind a moment nor precede'. In sha Allah we will meet in the battlefield soon!
Campus Front of India
The central government is reaping political benefit while covid-19 lockdown is underway.
Enforcing the new Domicile Law in Kashmir is a fresh example ill-motivated political interest of Central government. The law mandates either 15 years of residing history to all Kashmiris in order to prove their citizenship or ten years of experience in central government services or studied in the state for seven years and appeared in either the Class X or XII examinations. This coward attempt to assault on demography comes after India changed the geographical and political status of Kashmir through the abrogation of Article 370 in August.
This will legitimise the ongoing wide range of human rights violation. Campus Front of India strongly oppose the imposition of new law and urge to students to protest in every social media platforms without violating lockdown protocols.

Dignity Conference on 6th November at Talkatora Stadium ,New Delhi
New Delhi: Campus Front of India, a nationwide students movement is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on the theme Decade of Dignity. Being a student movement which educates the students to respond against the social evils, we aware the students about their moral responsibility to act against in justice. Campus Front took strong stand against the deep rooted fascist Ideology which destructs the unity in diversity concept of India. The hate politics and religious polarization propagated by RSS through Lynching, Hate speeches, Saffronization etc endanger the idea of India. The minority communities and Oppressed has been facing serious identity issues like Casteism, Islamophobia through the Brahminical Supremacy propounded by Hindutva brigades. Here the student community has lot much to do for creating a society of equal Justice and opportunity to all.
Students were considered as the backbone of every society and they are the vital force to construct a welfare nation. The only hope and responsibilities to overcome the Hate politics and anti people policies of the Government vested on students. The struggle which we saw in the recent past was actually emerged out from Indian Campuses. So they are targeted to suppress by using different machineries of the state. The only opposition of this country has been facing frequent rustication and show cause threats which slow down the spirit of activisms. Here Campus Front urged the students to awake and speak up for rights and justice by breaking all the conventional hate propagandas of the state. Building up confidence to the society to fight against fascism by applying the power of education should be the priority of the students. The 10 year long journey of Campus Front taught the students to live with dignity rather than adopting compromising measure against injustice.
A Dignity conference is scheduled on 6 Nov 2019 at the Talkatora stadium New Delhi. The programme will be commenced form 2 pm on wards. Students from prominent universities are expected to participate in the programme. We invite every media to cover this historic student conference which is going to be a milestone in the struggle against fascism and uphold the constitution. Campus Front General Secretary Rauf Sherif, S Mohammad Rashid, Karimul Bari and Sabi Ahmed participated in the press meet.
Govt must bear expenses of Kashmiri students:Campus Front
Campus Front National committee demands that the government should bear the expenses of Kashmiri students in different parts of the country who are not able to meet their needs after the shutdown imposed on Kashmir. The students are dependent on their families for all their needs. Since the communication lock out placed along with the abrogation of article 370 there were numerous reports of kashmiri students not able to pay their bills being unable to contact their families. There are students who are made to vacate hostels and drop studies. The BJP government has been staying insensitive to these accounts since. This is highly objectionable. The government has to shoulder responsibility to ease the sufferings of students caused by its decisions. The government has to immediately devise plans to support students who are under impasse after its abrupt decision on Kashmir. Campus Front has decided to provide legal aid to students who are subjects to the sheer injustice.
Dignity Conference on 6th November 2019.

A decade which changes students from passive spectators to active participants in socio-political issues; A decade which has stood for student politics reflecting the social realities rather than becoming tools of narrow political interests. A decade during students has given a helping hand for oppressed people who are on the lookout for help and leadership. A decade in which campuses stood tall and said no to fascism, imperialism, pro-rich and anti-people policies of the government. A decade which has raised voice against demoralisation and discrimination. A decade dreaming of social justice and equity.

_Lok Sabha Election 2019_ DEFEAT THE POLITICS OF HATE
The largest democratic country in the world is ahead of another general election. The election to the 543 constituencies will make up the 17th Lok Sabha. The 2019 General Election has attained international attention in the backdrop of the ascendance of rightwing powers globally. The people of the country are literally disappointed under BJP government due to its pro-rich anti-people policies. The govt's anti-people policies and hate politics have divided the country again in terms of economic condition and religious belief. Under the BJP government, the rich became more affluent and the life of the poor became more vulnerable than ever. Religious polarization has deepened. Demonetization and implementation of GST worsened the economic condition of bottom classes. Small scale and village industries, even after two years of demonetization, have not survived yet. Deliberate and continuous attack over the public sector in favour of private actors critically destructed public institutions. Farmers’ suicide rate break the records. The entire government is accused of corruption and it is first time in the Indian history that a Prime Minister is directly involved in a scam- Rafale deal; the PM cheated the whole country for the favour of a single person. For youth, the unemployment rate has hit high at 7.2 per cent and our country’s workforce has shrunken to 28 million from 30 million today. It proved that the overhyped ‘Make in India’ and ‘Skill India’ programmes were a mere political hoax.
The people have lost respect in law and order due to the never ending attacks on minority communities in the last four years. International reports state that more than 50 lives have lost in the name of cow terror. Police encounters in BJP ruled Uttar Pradesh has violated all human rights values. Kashmir valley is soaked with blood more than ever and assault over Kashmiri students and merchants fueled by Sangh Parivar has steeped after Pulwama tragedy.
Inadequate budget allocation and prolonged fund-cuts in the education sector degenerated the quality of education and resulted in the stagnation of infrastructure development of the schools. The government has delved into saffronising the whole education system by planting unqualified Sangh Parivar agents in the reputed institutions and manipulating history, in textbooks.
Even the Supreme Court of India had to stop and faced the press, the fourth estate and accused the political intervention of BJP government in the daily administration of the SC. The only beneficiaries of the BJP government is the ultra-rich businessmen of the country.
In short, all Constitutional bodies and non-constitutional bodies of our Country have been impaired by the Hindutva forces. India is desperately in search of an alternative which speaks for people’s politics and fight against the real enemy of nation’s development and harmony of the people - ie Hindutva. The general election 2019 presents a golden opportunity for rescuing the idea of India. The voters of the country should exercise the power of democracy intelligently. Young India can decide the future of our democracy at this historical juncture and we should recognize the bogus candidates and parties from their false promises who failed to hinder the fascist groups even after the seven decades of Independence. We appeal the students to exercise vote against Hindutva forces and their supporters. Campus Front of India urges to defeat the politics of hate and regain the idea of India.

Resist the Sanghparivar conspiracy to Terrorise AMU
Campus Front National secretariat in a statement called up on the students across the nation to stand with AMU. Recent continuous attack towards minority institutes by the Sanghparivar through their paid media is an indicator of communal polarization befor the upcoming loksabha election. It is their need to create violence inside the AMU, campus for this they were spreading hate news continuously since the BJP came in to power. By stereotyping AMU as the terror hub they are forcing the other citizens to fight against a premier university which stood in forefront to uplift the secular democratic values of our country. AMU is far ahead than providing the idea of India to its students than the Hindutwa forces trying to impart the idea of Hindutwa to Indian culture.
The Media houses are relentlessly trying to make defamatory arguments against the University in the name of Terrorism and Minority status. BJP leaders' demands to scrap the MUSLIM title from AMU is also an indication to this. Students are manhandled outside and Police officials are reluctant to file an FIR against a media person who used communal derogatory terms and goons who trespasses the university and filmed with out prior permission. Students of AMU marked their protest against this move and they were booked under sedition charge.
The National Secretariat added that if the name and identity of Muslim was the only reason for attacking AMU. We should fight back and will kicked out the fascist mindsets from the campus. Campus Front extend its support and solidarity to the protesting students and urge all students to mark their protest against the state sponsored islamophobic conspiracy.
UAPA against Teltumbde clear instance of authoritarianism: Campus Front
Campus Front of India national committee in a press statement said that slapping UAPA charges on activist and academician Anand Teltumbde is a clear instance of authoritarianism and repressive measures adopted by Modi government. Earlier the activist was subjected to an overnight arrest from his residence along with four other activists by Maharashtra Police. Then the Supreme Court criticized the government in strong terms and made a comment that the 'Dissent is the safety valve of democracy'. Similar is the case of sedition charges framed against JNU students. The government seems undeterred on its move against the students despite the adverse reaction from the Patiala court. In all these cases the ruling party is openly misusing and manipulating the government machineries and tampering with investigating agencies to meet its on interests. National committee opined that the Modi government faced with an electoral setback is resorting to repressive measures against the dissenting voices. Recently the presence of a parliamentary opposition is not at all felt as the government is moving anti constitutional bills in the Parliament and getting them passed in an easy manner. The only opposition against the authoritarian policies of the government is the dissenting voices from among the Civil Society. Targeting such activists and silencing them raises serious concerns and is a potential hazard to the democracy. Campus Front exhorted the citizens to stand up against the undemocratic measures adopted by the government.National Committee termed the legislation of reservation for economically weaker sections as anti constitutional to its core and a blow to the prospects of empowerment of socially backward communities and expressed hope that the court which has always rose to safeguard democratic values will invalidate the new legislation. National president MS Sajid,General Secretary Rauf Shereef, Abdul Rahim, Atiya Firdous, S Mohammed Rashid, Kalim Tumkur, Atheeq Rahman spoke at the meeting.
MS Sajid Elected as National President of Campus Front
Malappuram: The National General Council of Campus Front elected the new National Committee with MS Sajid as President and Rauf Sharif as General Secretary. The other committee members as Abdul Rahim, AtiyaFirdous (Vice Presidents), S Muhammed Rashid, Mohammed Kaleem (Secretaries), AtheeqRahman (Treasurer), PV Shuhaib, T Abdul Nazar, Mohammed Thafseer, Fayis Kanichery, MB Shefin, S. Musthafa, Misriya, Kaleemul Bari, Arshak Vazhakkad. The two day event was held at Malabar House, Malappuram. National Advisory Board Chairman KM Shareef controlled the election process.
Earlier, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, Popular Front of India, National General Secretary inaugurated the council. Delegates from all over the India discussed the national working report for the last year and participated in the election process.
The council held that Section 69 of IT ACT which empowers certain agencies to spy on citizens is the violation of the constitutional right to privacy and demanded to revoke the law. The council resolved that frisking students before entrance exams is unethical andauthorities should step back from such practices. It is also held complicating procedures for obtaining minority scholarships defeat its very purpose. The council also demanded that reservation should be ensured for all streams of entry to Kerala Administrative Services.
State Governments should execute Supreme Court direction to curb lynching: Campus Front
State governments should take preventive, punitive and remedial measures to curb mob lynching as directed by the Supreme Court. Campus Front National delegation after visiting Azhar Khan's family, denounced the slipshod attitude of Rajasthan government which nurtures such incidents in the state. Azhar Khan was stabbed to death by a mob of hinduthwa fanatics at a place near to his village on 21st of this month. The allegation of polluting a temple river by Azhar and his brothers was actually a rumour as part of their plot to ferment frenzy and violence. The delegation stated that, the murder was precisely a deliberate attempt to prevail a fear over the Muslim community, and the police should unveil the conspiracy behind the lynching. The police force who is bound to safeguard the citizens has not yet ready to arrest any perpetrators who have been freely roaming in public.Their laxity and inaction evince the absence of law and order in the state and would promulgate a culture of impunity. Campus Front demands the police to enforce the law in stern by arresting all the culprits and deliver justice to the family. It is alarming that the people are forced to come out to the streets to ensure justice. The state goverments should give directions to the police force to adopt stringent actions to prevent lynching. The delegation was headed by MS Sajid Campus Front of India national vice president and accompanied by national Secretary Tabarak, Rajasthan state committee members Irfan and Noorul Islam.
Commemoration of Surgical Strike unscrupulous: Campus Front
Campus Front of India National president PV Shuhaib said that the UGC circular directing higher education institutions to commemorate the anniversary of surgical strike is unscrupulous and in odds with all principles of ethics. It is an attempt of the government to milk the military for political gains. He alleged the centre of resorting to jingoism to divert attention from its scams and failures. Pv Shuhaib condemned UGC of compromising its autonomy before the narrow interests of the government. Indian military created many episodes which raised the pride of the nation, which the government has no eagerness to remember while it is celebrating surgical strike as an achievement. While the whole country is in distress and is tasting the bitterness of the wrecked policies of the government, the commemoration amounts to the mockery of citizens. Campus Front demanded that the centre should step back from abusing educational institutions for its political agenda.
Probe the conspiracy behind the murder attempt to Umer Khalid: Campus Front of India
New Delhi: Campus Front of India national committee demanded an independent probe be made into the murder attempt of JNU student Umer Khalid. Such an attempt should not have made without the support of some hand in government and police especially when the security is high in Delhi as part of Independence Day celebration. A high level probe should be constituted to lay bare the conspiracy behind it.
The Modi rule is marked with murders, attempted murders and death threat against scholars and writers who stand firmly against the anti people policies of the government. The government consistently failed to secure the lives of the citizens.
The committee opined that the issuing of NRC at Assam openly challenged the sanctity of the idea of citizenship as a revered contact between the state and its subjects. Expelling a considerable population from citizenship and stigmatising them as foreigners is a part of hate campaign going on in the country. The government is moving on the lines of RSS which define nation in a divisive manner and denounce those Muslims and those who oppose Hindutwa as having foreign allegiance. The committee also condemned the government move to go on the draft of National Education Policy which prepared without sufficient consultations with academicians and without any public discussion and is widely looked upon as a means to smuggle saffron agenda into the education.
The committee expressed concerns over the government’s move towards an authoritarian state and it will undermine the democratic ethos which has been preserved through generations.
The National President PV Shuhaib, General Secretary T Abdul Nasar MS Sajid Muhammad Tabarak and Raoof Shareef Spoke in the event.
Cancellation of Audrey Truschke’s talk a setback to academic freedom : Campus Front
Campus Front National Vice President MS Sajid has stated that the cancellation of the lecture on Mughal history by renowned historian and author of Aurangazeb, Audrey Truschk , which was to be on 11th in Hyderabad, is a setback to Academic freedom.
“It was reported that the police denied the permission after a protest erupted against the programme. The so called protest is from RSS-BJP affiliated individuals and groups. It is known that Sangh Pariwar has long history of intolerance against anything and anyone who disagrees with them. Police and authorities are there to provide a secure atmosphere for intellectuals and academics on such occasions. Instead, if police and authorities are to bow down before such intolerant groups and go on cancelling everything such groups are in disfavour with, then there can be no dialogues, nor diverse of opinions nor free intellectual endeavours of any form, which are the strengths of any healthy democratic society.”
It is clear that it is Truschke’s unbiased historical interpretations of Mughals times that made Sangh Pariwar angry. History for Sangh Pariwar is nothing more than a single exclusivist melodramatic story of the past to serve their present divisive political purposes. But it might not satisfy genuine researchers or scholars who are in search of truth. The organiser's explanation on the cancellation of event is irrational and shows their lack of guts to organise such an academic event.”
Enough With Intolerance Unite Against Fascism
Campus Front strongly committed to countering the hegemony of fascism in every sphere of the society. Next general election is due in 2019, and to a large extent, the outcome will depend on the gauge of the sentiment of the public against the ruling party. The imminent exercise of Indian Democracy is akin to the second freedom struggle to reaffirm the idea of India enshrined in the thought of great leaders.we believes that proper awareness and mobilization are required in every sector of the society to defeat the fascists who have the power with legitimacy and reverse this pitfall.
From this point of view, Campus Front is organizing an anti-fascist campaign “Enough with Intolerance, Unite against Fascism” from the month of August. The campaign will continue last till Lok Sabha Election of 2019.
The official inauguration of this campaign will be held on August 11 at India International Centre, New Delhi. The programme will commence at 10.00 am.
Salute to the Students, Your flags will fly over their Autocracy One day.
Condemn the police manhandling of students for waving black flags during BJP leader Amit Shah's rally in Allahabad. The brutal assault and abuse of students without any ruth to the females elicit the demeanor of police force in providing security to the programmes of BJP instead of dispensing the primary duty as protection of common citizen. Protesting against a genocider is not a crime in a democratic society. We are not living in a Shanthi ashram where everything is going fine. The smell of Bloodstains and the slogans of gourakshaks grabbed our nights sleeplessly. The courage of students to wave the black flags against hate mongers was an eye-opening move to the people who believe that nothing will happen to them. You can never throttle down the voice of dissent.

Stop police witch-huntý Government Should Step back.
Campus Front National Committee condemns the police witch-hunt over the Maharajas incident. The police have been continuing the raid in search of accused and detained 200 activists including Campus Front members.
Instead of stemming from the discriminatory biases of government, police force serves as a weapon for denunciate our organization.
The Police widespread raid covers almost all districts of Kerala and harassing the members, even the incident is happened in a college. It is obvious that CPM led government has politicised this incident and misusing the entire state police machinery to maltreat the members for some trivial political gains.
The present gruesome acts evince that CPM led government is afraid of a neo developing Identity Politics from the weaker sections of the country and an endeavor to extinguish it from campuses. The dubious incident has still remain cloudy which are not uncovered yet. The CPM-SFI has been portraying this incident as peculiar one in students history to shatter the spaces occupied by the ideology of demoractic and secular campus.National committee declaims that police failed to evolve from ruler supportive repressive force and to act without any political pressure.
Stop Politicising Maharajas College Incident: Campus Front
New Delhi: The National Secretariat of Campus Front of India said that SFI and left organisations are politicising the miserable happening at Maharajas College in which a student was killed. The incident occurred in connection with dispute regarding welcoming freshers for the next day. Such a local issue in connection with campus matters is being made a national issue unnecessarily and only for petty political gains.
Clashes are there in Maharajas College for certain period of time. In the last college union elections SFI suffered a huge set back, which provoked them to impede the activities of other students organisations inside the campus and unleash attacks on them. There are a lot of incidents of violence in Maharajas College, in which SFI activists have stake. Once in a police raid, deadly weapons were uncovered from student hostels. In the current issue also It was SFI activists who started the trouble by marring the wall writings of Campus Front, which is clear from the images.
The loss of life at Maharajas College is among the clashes and it is very clear to be accidental and unintended. But it is portrayed as deliberate and pre planned by SFI to denunciate our organization. This has crossed all limits of political ethics. Campus Front of India is a student organisation working in many states in India since the last 8 years with clear vision for the upliftment of the downtrodden sections. We have made great achievements in making students aware of their status and rights and imparting dignity to them. We aim to bring up a responsible student community for the welfare of the nation.
The present spurious allegations against us based on a local issue is politically motivated. It aims at tarnishing an organisation which has gained popularity throughout the country within a short period.
Campus Front Kerala state committee also demanded an independent and impartial probe into this unfortunate incident

Campus Front National Vice President MS Sajid in a statement strongly condemns the government move to replace the University Grands commission by enforcing a higher education committee to coordinate all the exercises of UGC.
According to PM and MHRD minister, by eliminating UGC, NCERT and AICTE , the apparent MHRD body constitute an Higher education committee for 5 years with a chairman and vice president. Committee includes 12 nominated members on behalf of the government, which shows BJPs well-wishers can easily be selected into the committee for executing their agendas. Like NEP draft here also MHRD did not mention the reason of this replacement.Prakash jawadekar in a press statement said that it is a step towards making the academic sector qualitative.Neither the drawbacks of UGC nor the advantage of proposed committee were mentioned in the notice of MHRD website and it indicates a hidden agenda to fetch thier plans.
Forceful indoctrination of Hindutwa ideology into the curriculum became a common factor nowadays.Chanting mantras of rig veda on world yoga day, compulsion of Surya namaskar and vande mataram in school assemblies, replacing the historical legends in to villains and vice versa, restriction to wear faith based dress codes etc were become legalized through this RSS dominated central autonomous body. The proposed committee will work as a tool of RSS agenda of Indianisation of education which aims to impart and establish hindutwa culture as Indian culture by eliminating the diversified cultural legacy of India
If the act is for assuring qualitative measures in academics, the govt has to ensure appropriate budget allocation in education sector .Modi government is still silent in the continues decrease in annual budget even after proposing a big budget plans like NEP. The reality and execution side of the state is still far behind than the planning side in every reform. By dreaming Ache din, students had lost all their benefits which granted to them. Fellowship and fund cuts to the minority as well as downtrodden sections, Attack on education sector in different issues like Autonomy, reducing the bi annual UGC NET exam to annual only, holding non NET fellowship to the PHD scholars, delay in MANF and RJNF, Attack on Minority Institutions like AMU and JMI, compulsion of PHD to the post of Assistant professor in any colleges, saffronising academic curriculum etc. Nowadays higher education to the deprived has become a big challenge to accomplish. Identity, dignity and faith of them were questioned in many levels of their academic career.
The new act will lead the entire education system under the complete controlled of the BJP ruled government. So Funds and fellowships may be rejected to the scholars who oppose them. Campus politics will be eliminated and all the students forcefully subject to hail the government without any concern. Lots of private institutions came in to existence and commercialization process reaches its peak which gradually collapses the public education system. Politics and dissent voices rising out from the Campuses against the inhuman policies of the Government will be restricted.
This act was subjected to present before the summer section of the parliament. MHRD invites suggestion from the public throw their website based on new act till july7. Hence we request all the student community and legislatures of the parliament to raise their voice against the undemocratic challenge to the education system.
Campus Front condemns Sangh Parivar cruelties on students at AMU.
Campus front National President PV Shuhaib in a statement has strongly condemned the ruthless attack unleshed by Sang Pariwar hooligans with the support of police on students at Aligarh Muslim University.
The Violence erupted over a portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah that has been hanging inside the students’ union hall for 80 years was a well-planned and deliberate move of right wing hinduthwa to ravage a premier institution that has always stood for humanism, tolerance and progress. Universities are supposed to be a place for debate and discussion. But the latest incidents at AMU are a shameful reminder that the forces of intolerance and intimidation affiliated to the ruling party are expanding their project of forceful saffronization into reputed universities too.
PV Shuhaib Said that the recent attack by Hindu Yuva Vahini with the backing of police force is a reflection of agenda of RSS-BJP to disrupt the atmosphere of amity and peace in campuses after seeking permission from administration for the performance of sakhas. Instead of stopping violent mob of hinduthwa, the police force brutally beat up the innocent students without any qualms. This behaviour of UP police of joining perpetrators instead of providing protection to the victims proves that not only that they they are incapable maintining law and order but also they themselves are a threat to it. He pointed that if this violence was motivated by their patriotism, they would rather have marched to the parliament demanded the removal of portrait of savarkar from the parliament hall, who inspired the assasination of Mahatma Gandhi and sought the clemency of British colonialists. This amount of violence is a result of Sangh Pariwar indoctrination, which blinds these people from seeing historical facts of our country. Campus Front demanded an independent inquiry into the matter and strict punishment to the Sangh Parivar members and police who involve in these heinous attack.
Government's inaction on BJP member shows the ineffectiveness of rule of Law
Campus front Delhi State President Sabi Ahmed in a press statement said that Government's inaction on Manish Chandela, Who openly claimed on social media that we had burnt the refugee camp of Rohingyans, shows the ineffectiveness of rule of Law and the entrenchment in culture of impunity that is taking deep roots all around us.
The Manish Chandela is a member of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha which is the “Youth Wing” of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). Ironically, there is no response against this kind of a person from BJP as a national political party abided by the constitutional principles. These kind of hate-mongers are a potential threat to the society where multi-religious people are residing in peace. This person should immediately be arrested as he also threatens in social media to carry out such crimes in future.
He also said that “this kind of attitude of our legal system toward criminals is a major factor behind these crimes being prevalent in our society”. it seems that the hate crimes are now being extended to the helpless immigrants only because of their religious identity”.
Campus front demands proper and immediate investigation into the matter and strict action against the culprits.
Symptomatic of facisit agenda to
make JNU a RSS Institute: Campus Front
Campus Front National Vice president MS Sajid in a statement said that the removal of top heads from various departments of JNU over mere allegation of their refusal in complying mandatory attendance order shows the undemocratic attitude of administration towards university, and it is a symptomatic of fascist agenda to make JNU a RSS institute.
Since the appointment of a pliant Vice-Chancellor who was known for his proximity to RSS, the students of this university have been vehemently protesting against the coercive decisions which are against the academic logic, freedom and democracy. The VC’s instant imposition of an lllegal and irrational policy of demanding compulsory attendance of students, which was never passed nor discussed in any democratic decision-making body again fuelled various kinds of struggles.
JNU has been the target of the Modi government since it came to power. No doubt, the regular attacks on JNU such as Massive cuts in admission intakes, violation of reservation policy, harassing teachers by denying their legitimate dues, improprieties in the conduct of selection process of officials, showing lackadaisical approach in missing case of student Najeeb Ahmed, etc are part of the fascist regime’s wider agenda to wreck the university which always stand as an exact opposite to the saffron politics and policies.
MS Sajid said that mandatory attendance in a research university like JNU is absurd and universities excel not because of restrictions or order, but in an atmosphere of academic freedom where the students can freely cultivate their thoughts and ideas.Through various kinds of enforcements, the administration is setting up means to harass a select number of students for their political activism.
He also said that non compliance of such decision by the university heads, which 98 percent of the JNU students voted against, can be considered as a dissent and an act in favour of students.
Instead of adopting required measures to gain the confidence of students and faculty the administration is playing havoc.
He also added that, however the recent decision is not unprecedented considering the trajectory of fascist moves that happened in the institution.
Ultimate goal of administration becomes much easier to achieve if student's voice can be stymied and suppressed. As to defeat this, students community should be able to fight and come together irrespective of political differences.
Campus Front urges the student’s community to come forward with vigour and mark their protest to protect institutions from fascist onslaught.
Police Brutality Unjust to the Public
Campus Front of India National General Secretary T Abdul Nasar strongly condemned the police brutality on Fathima Nafeesa, mother of missing JNU student Najeeb and other activists who were peacefully protesting infront of Delhi high court against the CBI's lack of interest in investigation of missing case.
It's been a year since Najeeb went missing.CBI is bound to give a believable explanation to the nation and to Najeeb's family as to why they are still clueless about his whereabouts. Before transferring the investigation to CBI,several times the police has faced the wrath of the court for their manner in which it has been carrying out the probe, but unfortunately the CBI is also acting in same manner and it shows the degree and impact of political intereference or pressure exerted on CBI executives to protect the ABVP members.Because everyone knows that he had gone missing after a scuffle with ABVP members.
T Abdul Nasar also said that Today,Police attacked Najeeb's mother along with scores of agitating students without any Provocation from their part. They were forcefully taken to custody and are reportedly being detained in various stations. This is an attack against people's democratic rights. He also said that this deliberate act was an unjust to the public and indicates the bent of mind of police executives.
Campus front condemns this shameful act and also expressed their concern over the non seriousness of CBI in public matters.
It's Omission rather than Commission Report :Campus Front
Campus Front National Gen. Secretary T Abdul Nasar in a statement said that AK Roopanwal Commission Report is falsifying the truth and shielding the instigators. It was constituted to find the circumstances that led to death of the Dalit scholar Rohit Vemula, but instead of finding the truth the commission brushed aside the facts which led him to commit suicide. The report claims that Rohith’s suicide was not due to the discrimination, but because he was unhappy owing to several other reasons, such as being unappreciated.Furthermore, the report cited that he did not belong to the Scheduled Caste community. From the observation of commission,it seems that probe didn't give much significance to the death note dripping with anguish and sarcasm over the discrimination faced or the rigged acts he confronted as being expelled from hostel, cut off the scholarship and even barred access to public places in campuses. In lieu of stringent investigation as per the mandate, the commission worked to label him as a Non Scheduled Caste and it unveils that report is whitewashing the UoH Vice Chancellor Appa Rao Podile, Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and others, who have been booked under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and for abetment of Rohith's suicide.
Nasar also said that since the beginning, ruling party is labeling him as a non Dalit to hide their "anti Dalit mentality" and they succeeded by fabricating this false report, but they cant flee from the responsibility of this institutional murder by bolstering the Commission report which is biased without exception.
He also added that, commission recommendation to a proper counselling mechanism to research scholars is actually inept for students but it is fine to the varsity officials in order to cultivate a treatment without caste basis. Submitted report is better called an omission rather than a commission perusal.
Campus Front also Demand a concrete move from judiciary to find the culprits by appointing a new judicial enquiry and also asserted that the reason behind the death of Rohith was mistreatment and harassment by the varsity and also the intervention of central ministries into the issue.
GORAKHPUR TRAGEDY IS OWING TO THE NEGLIGENCE AND I
Campus Front National President PV Shuhaib in a statement said that Death of 60 children including infants in Gorakhpur's Baba Raghav Das Medical College due to the alleged disruption in supply of oxygen is owing to the negligence and incorrigible misconduct on the part of government. This hospital is situated in the constituency of Yogi Adityanath. The Chief minister is busy spreading communal hostility towards minorities and finds no time to intervene into the issues of his own constituency. This is a pitfall to the society. The Chief minister and the minister of health should be held responsible for the dreadful tragedy. He added that the government should conduct a high level investigation and prosecute those who are responsible for the incident and provide necessary compensation for everyone who suffered.
Campus Front expressed their condolences to the bereaved families.
Campus Front condemns the draft National Medical C
Campus front National President PV Shuhaib in a press statement strongly condemned the National Medical Commission bill tabled in the parliament, terming it "an attempt to commercialise the medical sector and subvert democratic values".
Instead of obliterating the corruption and inadequacy of medical structure, the centre is introducing a new system which is inconsistent, lack of accountability and transparency in structure and process.
Through the replacement of existing apex medical education regulator with a new body, the centre is seeding corporate culture in educational sector.
Proposed Bill embodies an entitlement for profit oriented institutions to operate and determine fees in 60% of their medical seats without regulation. It is like the government is retreating from the regulation of fee structure and controlling corrupt practices. Moreover, it violates the basic requirement of modern governance structure that a regulatory body must be multi-stakeholder, transparent, and accountable.
PV Shuhaib said that referring the contentious bill to standing committee for examination is acceptable, but most importantly the committee is obliged to consider the public interest. He also said that if corruption in MCI was the main reason for bringing in NMC, the government should have taken corrective measures rather than introducing a new bill.Had this bill be passed, it will be a big disaster for entire health sector and medical education gets de-democratised.
He added that, the way the centre introduce controversial bills without proper discussions and debates marks the government's sauce in collecting public opinion.
Campus Front asks the government to step back from nodding anti people policies.
